Applying Overview

The Graduate Admissions Office is excited to announce the implementation of a NEW online application for degree applicants. 

The goal is to make applying easier by:

  • Allowing you to complete the application over a few sessions from any computer with Internet access
  • Allowing you to upload, rather than print and mail, some key documents that must be submitted with your application
  • Enabling letters of recommendation to be submitted electronically, rather than requiring you to provide, retrieve and mail paper versions
  • Accepting credit card payment for your application fee
  • Allowing you to track the status of your application to ensure that all components are received by the Graduate Admissions Office by the application deadline

Non-Degree and Readmission applicants need to complete and mail paper applications.

Our New Web Site

The Graduate Admissions Office is announcing the introduction of its new web site. If this is the first time you are visiting it we encourage you to explore its content. You should be able to find all the information you need to apply for graduate studies at Hunter College.
