Supporting Application Materials

In addition to completing the application form online, you must also mail required supporting application materials to the Graduate Admissions Office (or School of Social Work for applicants to that school).  Every applicant must submit official College and University Transcripts.  Because some programs require additional supporting materials it is important that you familiarize yourself with these specific Program Requirements and comply with them.

Guidance for submitting supporting application documents can be accessed below:

It is your responsibility to collect and submit all required  supporting application materials in a single envelope.  Please include the Supporting Application Materials Form in your package (you can also download the form at the bottom of this page). This will speed the processing of your application significantly.  This package must be received by Hunter College no later than 5:00 pm on the given application deadline, although applicants are strongly encouraged to submit it well before the deadline.  Your application cannot be processed without these supporting materials and submitting them in one envelope will significantly speed the processing of your application.

Official documents (college transcripts, letters of recommendation, test scores, etc.) are collected for the sole purpose of determining eligibility of admission to a graduate program at Hunter College. They become property of the College and cannot be released to the applicant or a third party under any circumstances.
